Dios quiere verter sus ríos de agua viva de compasión a través de cada uno de nosotros.

Este nuevo nivel de compasión no nos agotará con impotente simpatía, sino que alineará nuestros espíritus con el poder de Cristo para sanar, salvar y redimir.”

La compasión nace gracias a Dios dentro de nuestro fuero interno en nuestro lugar de oración y es encendida cuando buscamos a los demás con la compasión de Dios. La compasión que nace de Dios no nos agotará. Nos potenciará a amar. Le dará significado a nuestras vidas. Nos sacará de nuestras vidas egocentristas. Nos libertará para hacer todo lo que Dios pretende hacer a través de nosotros para alcanzar este mundo. Jesús andaba en esta compasión y amor. Él sabía que el amor y la compasión nos motivaría a vivir vidas obedientes y a traer Su Reino.

“Conforme andaba Jesús entre la gente, el amor del Padre (y Su compasión) llenó a Su Hijo. Jesús reconoció que ningún amor ordinario le podía motivar a ir a la cruz. Ningún amor (o compasión) humano podía mantenerle perfectamente obediente a Su Padre durante toda Su vida. Solo el amor de Su Padre era lo suficientemente poderoso para llevarle a comprometer Su vida para el propósito de salvación de Su Padre. Jesús pidió que Dios pusiera el mismo amor (y compasión) en Sus discípulos. Pídele a Dios que te dé compasión por aquellos en tu vecindario o lugar de trabajo. Pídele que te mueva con compasión para alcanzar y tocar a los perdidos y a los heridos. Él es el que puede darnos Su corazón por los pedidos.   • N – Nombra individuos y sus necesidades específicamente en oración. Dios quiere que seamos especificos. Él da respuestas especificas a oraciones especificas. Deja que Él toque tu corazón cuando tomas momentos en oración para pensar, pensar de verdad, y orar acerca de las necesidades de las personas perdidas que te rodean.
  • V – Vocea tu alabanza, preocupación y la Palabra de Dios sobre tu vecindario. Proclamar alabanza sobre tu vecindario cierra la puerta a la oscuridad y abre de par en par la puerta al Espíritu Santo. Ora palabras de vida, esperanza y salvación sobre tus vecinos. Ora para que los cautivos sean liberados y para que Dios sane a los corazones heridos.

  • E – Espera que Dios se mueva con poder milagroso.“La oración en el evangelismo es oración altamente especializada para que un milagro llegue a la vida de alguien que no cree que Jesús es Dios así que ese milagro hará que esa persona crea que Jesús es Dios y así vendrá al Padre.” Ed Silvoso

Oramos Isaías 61:1-2 para que puedas ungirnos para predicar las buenas nuevas a los pobres.” Pedimos que tu nos envíes a “sanar a los heridos de corazón, proclamar libertad a los cautivos y a libertad a los prisioneros de la oscuridad.” Danos la misma compasión que tenía Jesús cuando anduvo sobre la tierra. Revélanos Su compasión en esta hora. Abrimos nuestro corazón a esto. Muevenos en una vida de amor con compasión. En el nombre de Jesús. Amen.
