“LEVANTATE, resplandece; que ha venido tu lumbre, y la gloria de Jehová ha nacido sobre ti. Porque he aquí que tinieblas cubrirán la tierra, y oscuridad los pueblos: más sobre ti nacerá Jehová, y sobre ti será vista su gloria. Y andarán las gentes á tu luz, y los reyes al resplandor de tu nacimiento.” Isaías 60:1-3
Quiero animaros a levantaros ante vuestro llamado y a resplandecer para la gloria de Dios en el 2006. Los versículos anteriores son clave para intercesores arriba. Por todo el mundo se están levantando intercesores. Por toda la tierra el pueblo de Dios está viendo la grandeza de la intercesión y se están levantando ante el reto de la oración. Día y noche la intercesión está comenzando en algunos de los países más difíciles de alcanzar. A través de la oración estamos viendo la presencia manifiesta de Dios llegando a la tierra. Esta es la forma en la que vamos a traer la cosecha. Jesús está siendo glorificado a través de la oración. La oración es clave porque trae la gloria de la presencia de Dios a la tierra. No es momento de apesadumbrarse por la creciente oscuridad y dificultades que están llegando a esta tierra. Esta es nuestra mejor hora. Esta es la gran oportunidad.
Nuestro llamado es para levantarnos y resplandecer en intercesión.
“La prioridad de Dios es que el Señor Jesucristo sea levantado. ¡La gran cosecha es un resultado de la presencia de Dios! No serán nuestros programas o métodos los que traigan esta cosecha a los graneros del Señor; lo hará la gloria de Dios.” Francis Frangipane
El Llamado a la Intercesión
“Si se humillare mi pueblo, sobre los cuales ni nombre es invocado, y oraren, y buscaren mi rostro, y se convirtieren de sus malos caminos; entonces yo oiré desde los cielos, y perdonaré sus pecados, y sanaré su tierra..” (2 Crónicas 7:14).
- Estamos sentados con Cristo en los lugares celestiales – Estar sentado implica regir. Por lo tanto nuestro llamado es para ver naciones cambiadas a través de la intercesión. Tenemos las llaves para el Reino y autoridad sobre las naciones. (Mateo 28:18-20). El llamado de Jeremías es el nuestro.
“Y extendió Jehová su mano, y tocó sobre mi boca; y díjome Jehová: He aquí he puesto mis palabras en tu boca. Mira que te he puesto en este día sobre gentes y sobre reinos, para arrancar y para destruir, y para arruinar y para derribar, y para edificar y para plantar” (Jeremías 1:9-10).
- De la misma forma que Jesús, que es nuestro ejemplo, nosotros estamos llamados a la intercesión – Jesús vive siempre para hacer intercesión por nosotros.
“¡El aliento mismo de un cristiano es la intercesión! Si no nos gastamos a nosotros mismos a diario en la intercesión, puede que el Señor sí esté en nuestros corazones, pero no le estamos permitiendo vivir Su vida en nosotros, porque la intercesión es lo que Él está haciendo siempre.” John Sandford” Por lo cual puede también salvar eternamente á los que por él se allegan á Dios, viviendo siempre para interceder por ellos” (Hebreos 7:25).
- Somos llamados a hacer guerra espiritual de intercesión – Con tanta frecuencia no somos conscientes del poder que tenemos en la intercesión. Este tipo de oración rompe, desbanca y destroza el reino del mundo. Tenemos el poder de destronar reyes y regentes.“Lo que Dios propone será llevado a cabo. Este es el poder de la intercesión profética. Todo creyente tiene poder, y Dios oirá y cumplirá para cualquiera de nosotros. Pero los profetas han sido levantados para oír y proclamar con la autoridad de Dios y para dar dirección a las oraciones de los intercesores. Cuando los profetas interceden, y otros con ellos, el poder es magnificado y los más grandes propósitos de Dios se cumplen con finalidad, exactamente como Él pretendía.” John Sandford
- Debemos obedecer el llamado de Dios para orar – Dios está levantando un ejército de guerreros de oración de los últimos tiempos, y debemos obedecer el llamado de Dios para interceder por ciudades y naciones. Estamos en el bando vencedor porque antes o después los propósitos de Dios se cumplirán.“Es el momento del coraje, de la toma de riesgos, de moverse de lo familiar a lo desconocido, a las aguas aparentemente sin cartografiar de la guerra espiritual – ya no más de pequeñas preocupaciones personales sino por el bien de tribus y grandes naciones y pueblos.” John Sandford
- Jesús llama a la iglesia a la oración unificada – Es a través de nuestra oración unificada que Dios sanará nuestras ciudades. Hemos estado aislados demasiado tiempo. Es hora de unirnos.”Y yo, la gloria que me diste les he dado; para que sean una cosa, como también nosotros somos una cosa. Yo en ellos, y tú en mí, para que sean consumadamente una cosa; que el mundo conozca que tú me enviaste, y que los has amado, como también á mí me has amado” (Juan 17:22-23).
Cómo Levantarse y Resplandecer
“El cual siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la misma imagen de su sustancia, y sustentando todas las cosas con la palabra de su potencia, habiendo hecho la purgación de nuestros pecados por sí mismo, se sentó á la diestra de la Majestad en las alturas” (Hebreos 1:3).
- Levantarse de una mentalidad decaída – La Biblia amplificada (en Inglés) dice en Isaías 60, “¡Levántate (de la depresión y postración en la que te han mantenido las circunstancias; levántate a una nueva vida)!”
- Levantarse en obediencia – Mantenerse cerca del Señor y obedecer Su Palabra. Tomar cuidado de hacer lo que es correcto a Sus ojos. De esta manera permanecerás en Él y la luz del Señor brillará en tu vida.
- Levantarse con el mensaje de Cristo – Jesús es Señor sobre todo. Él es nuestro mensaje. Todas las cosas serán consumadas en Él. El propósito de Dios es la plenitud de Cristo. Es hora de tomar posesión de este glorioso mensaje.
- Levantarse con expectación – No se espera de ti que solo soportes los últimos tiempos, sino también que te levantes en la gloria de Dios con expectación acerca de lo que Él puede hacer. Estamos en el umbral de la manifestación de la gloria de Dios sobre la tierra junto con una increíble cosecha de almas.
- Levantarse al conocimiento de que la luz desplaza las tinieblas – Cuando habitas en Cristo, resplandeces con Su luz y gloria. Esto desplaza las tinieblas.
Hace muchos años trabajé con un equipo en Chicago que alcanzaba a los practicantes de cultos y al ocultismo. Durante ese tiempo nuestro líder trajo a un ex-brujo para que nos hablase acerca de lo que era vivir en la oscuridad. Dijo que cuando aquellos que estaban en el ocultismo veían a un cristiano, veían una luz brillante que rodeaba su cuerpo. El brillo de esa luz dependía de su santidad y cercanía al Señor. Dijo que las brujas cruzaban la calle para andar por la otra acera, porque no podían tolerar la luz de Dios brillando a través de estos cristianos. La presencia de Dios era demasiado fuerte. Quiero animaros a seguir a Dios de cerca y ser consciente de que os estáis levantando y resplandeciendo con el brillo de la presencia de Dios. Es real y atraviesa cualquier oscuridad que os rodee.
Un Agradecimiento Personal
Quiero daros las gracias personalmente. Muchos de ustedes han orado por mí con respecto al cáncer de mama. El 16 de Diciembre pasé por quirófano. Hace algunos días fui a mi cirujano jefe para recibir los resultados de la cirugía y de las pruebas. Me dijo que el cáncer no se había extendido y con respecto a los resultados, me dijo, “No puede estar mejor de lo que está”. Cuando le pregunte si esto significaba que yo estaba libre de cáncer él me dijo “¡Sí!” He aprendido tantísimo en estos tiempos y quiero agradeceros a cada uno de los que han orado personalmente por mí. Aunque no pude hacer nada durante unas semanas debido al dolor (incluyendo el escribir estas cartas) y estoy pasando por un proceso de reconstrucción que involucra otra cirugía dentro de un par de meses,
¡Estoy absolutamente emocionada por lo que Dios ha hecho! A Él sean toda la gloria y la alabanza.
