 El sufrimiento y el experimentar el fuego purificador de Dios es una parte necesaria de la vida.  Conforme crecemos en nuestras vidas de oración, Dios nos quita nuestra vida en la carne de una forma más profunda.  Desnudar el alma no es fácil, pero es absolutamente necesario. Un resultado positivo es que Dios muestra la vida de resurrección a través de nosotros de una forma mayor.

El debe permitir que el quebranto quite la fuerza de nuestra alma y nuestra forma carnal de manejar la vida. Todos sabemos lo duro que esto puede llegar a ser. Nuestros corazones pueden no estar sometidos en ciertas áreas, y las dificultades nos llevaran a una rendición mas profundas a los caminos del Señor. El sufrimiento es quizás la forma más rápida de crecer espiritualmente, porque la mayoría de nosotros daríamos testimonio de que las épocas de mayor crecimiento espiritual han sido bajo el fuego de las pruebas y dificultades. Esto nos trae a un nuevo nivel de poder espiritual en la oración.

La clave del sufrimiento es manejarlo adecuadamente cuando nos llegue. Estuve enferma por casi dos semanas. Como la mayoría de vosotros, odio estar enferma. Pero Dios lo usó para llevarme a un nivel mas profundo de quebrantamiento. Durante este tiempo le pregunté a Dios, “¿Que es lo que quieres enseñarme?¿Cómo puedo crecer a través de este sufrimiento?” Yo quería crecer en mi comprensión de Dios. En orden de que Dios pueda entrenarnos en sus caminos, El permite que su fuego nos consuma. Este fuego provoca que nosotros muramos más a nosotros mismos para que El pueda vivir más a través de nuestras vidas. La enfermedad fue difícil para mi pero creo que al final,  Dios lo estaba usando para mi ventaja.

Recuerda esto, no importa lo que estés enfrentando con respecto a circunstancias difíciles, si lo manejas bien, vencerás al final. 

Comprender los caminos del Señor va a ser vital en vivir y orar de acuerdo con el reino. Nunca es fácil atravesar dificultades porque tenemos que luchar hasta llegar a una nueva comprensión de Dios. He estado leyendo el libro de Job. El era sin culpa y recto y aun así una terrible clamidad golpeó su vida y su familia. Imagínate perderlo todo. ¿No te recuerda eso a las victimas del tsunami? Job atravesó una dificultad terrible pero nunca sacrificó su fe y confianza en Dios. A través de su ejemplo, nosotros también podemos perseverar hasta que llegue nuestra liberación. Dios no respondió a sus oraciones inmediatamente. El estuvo en el fuego de la prueba durante un largo periodo de tiempo. Pero al final, Dios bendijo a Job de una forma mas grande de lo que nadie se hubiese imaginado. A veces nos encontramos con oraciones sin contestar y pruebas persistentes.

Dios esta eligiendo refinar nuestro carácter. Quiere subirnos mas alto en poder de resurrección, fe y frutos.

¿Porqué permite Dios que atravieses por el fuego?

 Dios te permite atravesar por el fuego en orden de prepararte para Sus planes y propósitos para tu vida.

“Porque tú, Dios, nos probaste; nos purificaste como se purifica la plata. Nos metiste en la red; pusiste sobre nuestros lomos pesada carga. Hiciste cabalgar hombres sobre nuestra cabeza. ¡Pasamos por el fuego y por el agua, pero nos sacaste a la abundancia!” (Salmos 66:10-12)

A veces Dios permite pruebas en orden de producir una mayor madurez y mayor fruto en nuestras vidas. Estás ahora en un proceso, Porque Dios sabe lo que va a hacer a través de tí. Nunca te pareceras a Cristo sin sufrimiento. Su primera prioridad es que des fruto, no que estés comodo. Sea lo que sea que estés pasando es para un propósito positivo en tu vida si lo manejas bien. Dios está personalizando tus problemas en orden de ayudarte a moverte hacia Sus diseños para tu vida.

  • Dios es intenso y santo, y nada pecaminoso puede sobrevivir al fuego de Su presencia.
    “Porque Jehová, tu Dios, es fuego consumidor, Dios celoso.” (Deuteronomy 4:24).
    El quema impurezas en nuestras vidas para que seamos purificados en Su presencia. Este fuego incluye dolor, perdida de control, tensiones intensas y cambios. Si sientes este fuego, regocijate porque Dios se esta acercando a tí. Estas siendo llevado a un lugar de intimidad y conocimiento mas profundo de El si lo manejas bien.
  • Dios esta produciendo fe y carácter en ti que vale como el oro. “Si me prueba, saldré como el oro” (Job 23:10). 
    El oro que Dios está desarrollando en tu vida es una fe purificada y un caracter refinado. Este oro es parecerse a Cristo y no grandes ministerios, exitos humanos, o ninguna otra cosa. Toma ventaja de esta oportunidad para comprar oro. Permite que tu fe sea probada y estirada, y permite que las situaciones sobrepasen tu mente. Permite que la carne sea quitada de ti y sube a la superficie. Persevera y aguanta a traves de la tribulación. Cuando la crisis es fuerte, Dios quiere que fijemos nuestro enfoque en Él, que le encontremos en la adversidad, y descubramos la senda del Espiritu hacia la victoria. Abraza el fuego purificador de Dios con expectación.

¿Como podemos responder de forma adecuada a las pruebas?

“De modo que los que padecen según la voluntad de Dios, encomienden sus almas al fiel Creador y hagan el bien” (1 Pedro 4:19 ).

  • Dios está haciendo un trabajo que solo El puede hacer, así que encomienda tu alma al Señor – En lugar de intentar acelerar el proceso, encomienda tu alma al Señor, y confía en Su habilidad de completar Su propósito en tu vida.
    “Encomienda a Jehová tu camino, confía en él y él hará. Exhibirá tu justicia como la luz y tu derecho como el mediodía” (Salmos 37:5-6).
  • Continúa haciendo el bien – Cuídate de no pecar, sigue buscando el rostro de Dios, y haz bien a los demás. Lo que hayas estado haciendo para Dios, continúa siendo fiel en ello. No caigas en un foso de despotismo. Mantenerte en tus responsabilidades es tan importante durante el fuego. Persiste en la oración aunque pienses que tus oraciones son debiles. Tus oraciones son especiales para Dios.
    “Confía en el Señor y haz el bien;” (Salmos 37:3a).
  • Be sobrecojido con una revelación de Dios en persona – Triunfamos en el sufrimiento mirando a nuestro creador. Nuestra alma puede entonces encontrar equilibrio en la quietud y en confianza conforme encontramos revelación en la sabiduría de Dios. El es fiel. El punto de giro de Job fue cuando Dios le habló en Job 38-39.
    “Respondió Job a Jehová y dijo: ‘Yo reconozco que todo lo puedes y que no hay pensamiento que te sea oculto… De oídas te conocía, mas ahora mis ojos te ven.” (Job 42:1-2,5).
  • Arrepientete ante Dios, se consciente de tuspropias debilidades, y sometete a Su voluntad. – Job era un hombre genuinamente quebrantado a través de su experiencia en el fuego. Esto le permitió andar en autentica dependencia y humildad ante Dios furante el resto de su vida.
    “Por eso me aborrezco y me arrepiento en polvo y ceniza” (Job 42:6).

Recomiendo muchisimo el libro The Fire of Delayed Answers (El fuego del retraso de la respuesta) ydThe Fire of God’s Love (El fuego del amor de Dios) por Bob Sorge. El habla con poder acerca de esto porque el ha pasado por sufrimientos enormes. Que todos aprendamos a comprar el oro de un carácter refinado cuando experimentemos el fuego purificador de Dios. Quiero animaros comointercesores a que os acerqueis aun más al Señor durante epocas de pruebas. La intercesion es un llamado muy alto, pero hay un precio de preparación incluido en ese llamado.

Dios te está llamando a que subas más arriba.

“Por lo cual vosotros os alegráis, aunque ahora por un poco de tiempo, si es necesario, tengáis que ser afligidos en diversas pruebas, para que, sometida a prueba vuestra fe, mucho más preciosa que el oro (el cual, aunque perecedero, se prueba con fuego), sea hallada en alabanza, gloria y honra cuando sea manifestado Jesucristo” ( 1 Pedro 1:6-7).
