El Señor nos dijo que orásemos para que se hiciera su voluntad así en la tierra como en los cielos. El llegar a estar de acuerdo con el cielo es nuestra meta en la intercesión. Como intercesores podemos llegar a estar de acuerdo con la voluntad de Dios en los cielos. Todos conocemos la fuerza y el poder que se libera cuando la gente se pone de acuerdo sobre la tierra con respecto a una decisión o plan de acción en particular. Imagina el poder que se libera en oración cuando existe un acuerdo entre el cielo y la tierra. ¿Cómo serían las naciones si esto ocurriese? La posición de Jesús en los cielos es la de la intercesión (Hebreos 7:25).
Y nos ha dado el privilegio de orar para que se haga Su voluntad en la tierra. Esta es la forma de orar que nos une a una poderosa liberación de la gloria de Dios aquí sobre la tierra. Necesitamos desesperadamente que el poder y la gloria de Dios toque las dificultades que estamos enfrentando ahora mismo aquí en la tierra. Los recientes desastres a través de huracanes, guerra y hambre apuntan a nuestra necesidad de orar para que la voluntad de Dios se haga sobre la tierra y de que lo que se establezca en los cielos se lleve a cabo sobre la tierra.
“Jesús expresa con claridad su voluntad – debemos de pedir que lo que se establezca en los cielos se lleve a cabo sobre la tierra. Reinamos en la tierra ahora como reyes y sacerdotes en autoridad intercesora del Reino. Esto se lleva a cabo a través de atar, desatar, y de tomar la autoridad del juzgado del Reino que nos ha sido dada a través del Nombre de Jesús, convirtiéndonos en abogados entre el cielo y la tierra.” Cindy Jacobs
La intercesión es la clave para lo que tiene que ocurrir sobre la tierra. Ahora mismo estoy en un país del Medio Oriente que necesita desesperadamente que el poder del cielo toque la tierra. Es un gran gozo estar aquí, sabiendo que el poder de la intercesión puede transformar esta tierra – viendo la oscuridad y sabiendo que la luz trae libertad, viendo las ataduras y sabiendo que hay libertad en Cristo. Somos los que podemos hacer una diferencia cuando nos pongamos de acuerdo con los cielos con respecto al Reino de Dios sobre la tierra. La labor de alcanzar a las naciones es grande pero nuestro Dios es mayor y las vasijas de la intercesión se están derramando sobre toda la tierra provocando una diferencia significativa debido a la oración.
Se consciente de la autoridad que tienes como intercesor para orar la voluntad de Dios sobre la tierra. El problema es que con frecuencia no somos conscientes del todo del potencial que tenemos en la autoridad intercesora del Reino. Satanás ataca a cada uno de nosotros fuertemente porque sabe el poder que hay disponible para nosotros, la autoridad de liberar atributos celestiales sobre la tierra. No hay limites a lo que Dios puede hacer. ¿Cual es la voluntad de Dios para con las naciones? Es redimir a los perdidos de cada tribu y nación. Todas estas necesidades apuntan las personas en todo el mundo a la necesidad de aquel que salva y libera. Jesús es la respuesta.
Pide que los intercesores se levanten a su nivel de autoridad del Reino en oración, lleguen a estar de acuerdo con el cielo, y traigan en oración al cielo sobre la tierra.
“Y cantaban un nuevo cántico, diciendo: Digno eres de tomar el libro, y de abrir sus sellos; porque tú fuiste inmolado, y nos has redimido para Dios con tu sangre, de todo linaje y lengua y pueblo y nación” (Apocalipsis 5:9).
El Vínculo entre el Cielo y la Tierra
“La intercesión ha de ser el gran vínculo entre el cielo y la tierra. La intercesión del Hijo comenzó sobre la tierra, continuó en el cielo y, llevada a cabo por su pueblo redimido sobre la tierra, traerá el poderoso cambio: ‘Así en la tierra como en los cielos’”

Algunos de ellos son santidad, poder, sabiduría, justicia, y la lista continúa. Podemos orar pidiendo estos atributos para la tierra, nuestras ciudades, barriadas y naciones. Podemos subir por encima de nuestras luchas y pruebas terrenales y llegar a estar en acuerdo con el cielo. Podemos vivir con esta oración en nuestro corazón, “Padre… Hágase tu voluntad, así en la tierra como en el cielo” (Lucas 11:2).
“Después de estas cosas miré, y he aquí una gran compañía, la cual ninguno podía contar, de todas gentes y linajes y pueblos y lenguas, que estaban delante del trono y en la presencia del Cordero, vestidos de ropas blancas, y palmas en sus manos; Y clamaban en alta voz, diciendo: Salvación á nuestro Dios que está sentado sobre el trono, y al Cordero. Y todos los ángeles estaban alrededor del trono, y de los ancianos y los cuatro animales; y postráronse sobre sus rostros delante del trono, y adoraron á Dios, Diciendo: Amén: La bendición y la gloria y la sabiduría, y la acción de gracias y la honra y la potencia y la fortaleza, sean á nuestro Dios para siempre jamás. Pide que la Voluntad de Dios Invada tu País
- Pide que la voluntad de Dios se haga así en la tierra como en el cielo – Estudia las escenas del trono en el libro de Apocalipsis y ora esas oraciones.
- Pide en oración los atributos celestiales del cielo sobre la tierra – Sabiduría, justicia, poder de Dios, pureza, paz, etc.
- Pide estos atributos y la intervención de Dios específicamente sobre zonas con problemas – Ora por sitios tales como New Orleáns, Irak, Corea del Norte, etc.
- Toma autoridad a través de atar y desatar – Ata en el nombre de Jesús todo lo negativo y malo que veas ocurriendo a tu alrededor y desata los atributos celestiales opuestos sobre la tierra.
- Pide que el Reino de Dios invada la tierra de forma poderosa – Alaba a Dios sobre tu ciudad en voz alta, orando las escrituras, ‘¡El Cordero que fue inmolado es digno de tomar el poder y riquezas y sabiduría, y fortaleza y honra y gloria y alabanza.’
