“Todos sabemos que los niños jovenes son pequeñas esponjas, absorbiendo todo lo que está a su alrededor en palabra y hecho, y lo que aman y admiran, ellos lo imitarán. Aman a sus padres sobre toda otra cosa. Así que es perfecto el que los padres muestren una pasión por Jesús y el evangelio en presencia de ellos… Los niños necesitan ser llevados de la mano, y que se les muestre lo que han de hacer en la rutina diaria de la vida. Después podran hacer juntos el trabajo de Jesús cuando alaban al maestro lado a lado.” Becky Fischer

La familia que ora unida es un arma dinámica en las manos de Dios para romper los poderes de la oscuridad que están intentando invadir nuestras escuelas, comunidades y ciudades. Dios esta levantando niños y jovenes como intercesores. Recientemente estuvimos orando con un misionero cuando de repente su hija de cuatro años vino y se quedó junto a nosotros en silencio mientras orábamos. Dios le estaba dando a ella un corazón para la intercesión aunque ella es muy joven. Los jovenes están empezando a pasar horas en cultos de oración porque están tomando la visión de la intercesión. Sus oraciones se vuelven poderosas y apasionadas. La principal arma para cambiar la sociedad que viene es la familia que ora unida.

La tentación para permitir que el mundo invada nuestros hogares es enorme. El enemigo sabe lo vital que es la familia para levantar la siguiente generación para que viva para Dios y solo para Él. Él tienta con la televisión y actividades, estar ocupados y entretenimientos mundanos, la internet y las compras. Hará lo que sea para mantener a Dios fuera del centro. Por lo tanto, tenemos la responsabilidad de decir “no” al enemigo y de meter a Dios en el centro de todo lo que hagamos. ¿Cómo puede hacerse esto?

Tiene que hacerse en la rutina diaria de la vida y con la determinación de poner a Dios como lo primero en todo.

Mostrar Pasión por Jesus

La pasión ha de ser mostrada. Los niños aprenden de sus padres y otros adultos que es lo que realmente importa en la vida. Debemos vivir lo que creemos. Debemos demostrar lo que implica el vivir para Dios. Toma nota de cómo una madre de Dios desarrolló a su joven hija en oración.

“Había una pequeñita llamada Ivy en mi ministerio de niños hace algunos años que era una maravillosa oradora, incluso a las edades de tres y cuatro años. Le pregunté a su madre como consiguió eso de la niña, si es que había nacido asi o que. Fue asombroso oír de la madre como desde que era bebé, ella la había llevado al sitio de oración con ella en su rutina diaria de oración. Cuando el bebe creció y comenzó a hablar, la madre la atraía a la oración pidiendole que orase, guiandola en la oración, y preguntándole lo que Dios le decía a su corazón… Demostrando la oración a diario, pero después llevando a su hija a su propía rutina de vida personal de oración, ha pagado enormes dividendos en la vida de esta pequeña niña, quien ahora, a la edad de nueve años, ama a Jesús apasionadamente.”

Tengo dos amigas que son hermanas y ambas son tremendas intercesoras y adoradoras, pasando horas en su lugar de oración. Me hablaron acerca de cómo su madre las educó en la oración. Ella las tomaba, una a la derecha y la otra a la izquierda, y se arrodillaban y clamaban a Dios en oración de forma diaria. La madre pasó el mato de oración a sus dos hijas. Ellas, a su vez, lo están pasando a muchos otros. Pasar el manto de oración a los jovenes es privilegio y responsabilidad importante, y no debemos tomarlo a la ligera.

Debemos mostrar y moldear pasión por Jesucristo.

Formas de Cultivar la Oracion para Tu Familia

“Es la interacción/mentorado diario y momento a momento que va en ultima instancia a hacer el impacto mas duradero en nuestros retoños.” Becky Fischer

  • Escribe oraciones hechas a medida – Conforme escuchas a Dios, escribe oraciones especificas (hechas en el cielo) para cada miembro de tu familia. Dios re dará oraciones especificas que puedes orar para cada hijo. Ora estas oraciones una y otra vez a lo largo del año, y ve cómo Dios las contesta especificamente.
  • Ora por tu familia con un amigo o un grupo pequeño – Observa cómo Dios da poder a tus oraciones cuando oras en unidad por los miembros de tu familia. Fortalece tu fe el orar con otros.
  • Ora versiculos de la Biblia acerca de tu familia – Ora las cualidades Bíblicas de Proverbios para tus hijos o las caracteristicas que ves en personajes Bíblicos como Daniel o Pablo. Busca en los Salmos y otros libros de la Biblia oraciones especificas.
  • Ora por los miembros de tu familia cuando conduces o haces tus tareas diarias – Hay muchos momentos en el día en los que puedes orar por los miembros de nuestra familia. Enseña a tus hijos a hacer lo mismo.
  • Ora por los colegios y familias cuando pases por delante de ellos conduciendo – Sé consciente de que el enemigo esta dispuesto a destruir las familias en tu vecindario y comunidad. Caminatas de oración y orar mientras se conduce tienen un poderoso impacto en tu ciudad cuando oras in situ con visión para ver las necesidades que te rodean.

  • Pídele a tus hijos peticiones de oración – Ora diligentemente por estas peticiones para que ellos puedan ver tu compromiso en oración. Pídeles a ellos que oren por tí tambien. Hazles saber que sus oraciones son importantes para ti y la familia.
  • Enséñale a tus hijos a orar acerca de las noticias – Hay muchas situaciones en el mundo para las que tu y tus hijos podéis orar juntos como familia. Enséñales a orar acerca de lo que se oye en las noticias, la radio o lo que se lee en los periódicos.

Debemos preguntarnos a nosotros mismos, “¿Vamos a permitir que el enemigo nos robe nuestras familias?” “¿Vamos a dejarle influenciar y controlar esta generación que viene?” “¿O vamos a influenciarles nosotros de forma diaria para que sean solo para Jesús?” La elección es nuestra. Es hora de entrar en combate espiritual por nuestros hijos y jóvenes en el mundo.

Es hora de hacer un compromiso para traer la oración al frente de nuestros hogares de forma diaria.  

“Hay muchas formas de traer la oración al frente de nuestras familias de forma diaria. Orar acerca de cosas pequeñas y grandes. Orar en casa y en la carretera. Orar por tus propias necesidades, y por las necesidades de los demás. Y cuando ores, siempre recuerda de darle gracias y alabanzas a Dios. (1 Tesalonicensas 5:16-18).” Kim Butts
